"Evie" is an artful craft gallery located in Syros island (the capital of Cyclades). Evie, the owner, is an interior designer. When she first saw our belts, that ranf a bell: Evie knew our production since Nikos Matsoukas was in head, she likes them back then. Her clients loved them too. The sentimental view of business...
Archaic jewelry has always been our main love. Copper is our inspiration, gold and silver is our way of expression! Metals that were always connected to human civilization, as source of well-being. Though colours are welcome too!
Our workshop was established back in 1981, when Nikos and Maria Matsoukas first experimented with a string of copper wire…just to make something beautiful for Maria to wear on a night out!
“Kassimi” is the birthplace of Nikos, situated in the Peloponnese, that gave its name to their new adventure.
Since then, hundreds and thousands of handmade jewerly (belts, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc…) are sold, each one of them being unique! Nowadays, the craft is carried out by the second generation and love remains the same…
